About this Piece
No matter what your yard looks like, this strong, sturdy structure can be installed directly into the ground just like a regular wood post. Includes a shelf that can directly support the mailbox of your choice or used as a platform for a mailbox adapter plate.
This mailbox post is assembled with 304-grade stainless steel hardware and comes with the assurance of a manufacturer’s 12-year residential limited warranty. Some assembly is required (see assembly guide). Assembled dimensions are 5"W x 58"H x 28"D (24lbs). Total length of the post is 76 7/8” long.
For the easiest assembly, use a cordless screwdriver/drill or multi-bit handle for the enclosed Torx bit. We recommend you bury the post approximately 18” to insure stability. There should be approximately 58” of post remaining, which meets postal requirements. The Hazleton Mailbox Post is designed to fit a standard‑size mailbox, but it can also be adapted to accommodate a large mailbox. The brace measures 18" L x 5.3" W. If those dimensions don’t align with your specific mailbox, a basic mailbox adapter can be purchased at most hardware stores to securely connect your mailbox to the brace..
